Use the Town menu in the macOS menu bar. Open Charlie Town Window returns to a normal window; Desktop Overlay selects the overlay. Focus Overlay Controls makes its controls reachable. Settings, Pause / Resume, and Quit are available from the Town menu.

Save manually from the Town menu. The app also saves periodically and on relevant close, sleep, and quit events. Import Existing Town reads a Charlie Town JSON file you choose and asks before replacing the displayed town. Export Town creates a backup at a location you choose.

One optional permanent purchase unlocks simulated weather, holidays, fictional sports, balloons, the Charile Mountain roller coaster, and skiing together. Premium Attractions and Restore Purchases are in the Town menu and use your Apple Account. The app is still in release preparation. The core town, both views, and fireworks remain free.

Weather follows the fictional town calendar. Charlie Town does not use your location or a live forecast. Pause when you want stillness; use Schedules to reduce flashes or change sound settings.

Include your Mac model, macOS version, app version, display setup, and the steps that caused the problem. Keep a backup of your town before troubleshooting.
